Employer, Safety and Security must be top priority

IRIA backs up its environmental, social and governance commitment as a certified B corporation® which means, just like our racking inspections, we are independently assessed. Not just on the quality of our work, but on how we run our business. Social and environmental performance, accountability, transparency – these are values we live up to, not just claim.
We’re proud to be part of a global community of over 8,500 B-Corps across 90+ countries using business as a force for good, including more than 700 in Australia and New Zealand.

We are ISO accredited in 9001, 14001 and 45001 (formerly 4801) and have been since 2018.

IRIA doesn’t consider a low-carbon future as optional – it’s essential for generations to come. So we walk the talk. We’re officially carbon-neutral, backed by a comprehensive approach:
And we’re not stopping there. We’ll continue to invest in new ways to do right by the planet and the people on it.
The Smith Family. We think every kid deserves a fair shot. IRIA sponsors and provides student mentoring through the Smith Family – an organisation focused on helping young Australians experiencing poverty reach their potential through education.
Indigenous Literacy Foundation. IRIA supports the Indigenous Literacy Foundation, a national charity working with remote Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities across Australia. The Foundation responds to community requests for culturally relevant books and resources, including early learning materials and programs that help communities create and publish their own stories in languages of their choice.
First Nations peoples and reconciliation. As a RAP Reflect organisation, IRIA is committed to building genuine relationships with Indigenous communities – both within our business and beyond it. We are committed to supporting First Nations peoples and to addressing disadvantage in whatever way we can.

Safe Work Australia has released the latest work-related fatality figures. The figures show as at 18 January 2018, there have been 8 Australian workers killed at work this year. Six…
It removes any commercial or financial reason to be anything other than accurate. Because IRIA has nothing to sell and no repair work to generate, our inspectors have one job – tell you exactly what’s there. That’s what makes the inspection worth having.
It means we’ve measured our emissions and offset what we can’t yet eliminate. We also built our own software to track our footprint and upgraded our head office with solar power and battery storage. It’s not just a claim – it’s something we actively maintain and monitor with the data to back it up.
B corp certification means IRIA is independently assessed on how we run our business – not just the quality of our inspections. Social responsibility, environmental performance, transparency and accountability all get scrutinised by an external body. It’s the same principle we apply to racking inspections: independent assessment produces a more reliable result than self-assessment. We think that applies to businesses just as much as it applies to racking.
