The Transport, postal &amp; warehousing industry\u00a0recorded the highest number of work-related deaths, with 66 fatalities. In 2016, the industry recorded a total of 57 fatalities.<\/p>\n<p>Forty seven Agriculture, forestry &amp; fishing workers died on the job in 2017. The industry had 43 fatalities in 2016. \u00a0According to the new figures, the construction industry saw 30 fatalities while eight Arts &amp; recreation services workers died on the job.<\/p>\n<p>The figures show 6 manufacturing workers were killed at work, while the Public administration &amp; safety industry lost 5 workers.<\/p>\n<p>Other industries to have recorded fatalities include Mining and Electricity, gas, water &amp; waste services each 3 fatalities.
